Day 1

Early in the morning, at 04:00 am our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or Airport and drive to Mikumi National Park, it will take 5-6 hours to reach the National Park.

On arrival at the main gate of Mikumi, you will start with the game-viewing drive until sunset. Embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the Mkata Plains, where large herds of elephants, zebras, and buffalo roam. Afternoon lunch at the Park.
Mikumi National Park provides an excellent opportunity to view a diverse number of animals and birds in a short period of time without too much driving around.

Enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the savannah before heading back to Camp Bastian for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning at 06:30 am, go on a visit to a Maasai village near Mikumi National Park where you will learn about their lifestyle, enjoy dances, and even buy some Maasai gifts for your family. You will then walk back to Lodge or Camp for breakfast.
Collect a packed lunch and drive back to Dar es Salaam where we will drop you off at the agreed location.
