Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

We pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive west to the Masai Mara National Reserve with an en-route lunch. We arrive in time for a game drive. Upon arrival, if time allows, you can pass by your place of accommodation and have coffee, otherwise, you'll proceed directly for your game drive in the reserve. The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary and is home to the wildebeest migration as well as over 450 other species of animals. July, August, and September are the months the wildebeest and zebra migrate from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara. There is also resident wildlife throughout the year. Later, we have dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your camp at 7:45 am (or earlier) and proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing of the animals. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. After the evening game drive, there is an optional visit to the Maasai village at an extra cost (pay directly). We return for dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru

You will be picked up from your camp early for a pre-breakfast game drive. Later, the guide will bring you to the camp for a full breakfast. After breakfast, we depart from the Mara region and head to Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch en-route. You will have scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from a distance on the main highway. You arrive in the evening at Lake Nakuru Park where your guide will drop you off at the budget City Max Hotel for check-in and dinner.
