Arrive in Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival in Tanzania, you will be met by your expert private guide and a specially adapted vehicle safari vehicle will be yours for the next 7 days.
Your first destination will be Tarangire National Park staying at Olkeri Camp in an area that hosts a large amount of wildlife with spectacular views. Located on rocky river beds overlooking a wooded valley and having the wonderful view of a water hole for animals to come into.

Explore Tarangire National Park
You have the day to explore Tarangire with your private guide. Also on offer from the lodge are many activities for all ages such as beautiful walks, star gazing, Maasai Cultural Interactions, night game drives and for those more adventurous, can go fly camping.
Today, go on a game drive in the national park and see some incredible wildlife encounters particularly being able to see large numbers of elephant and buffalo.

Transfer to Karatu
After breakfast, you’ll leave Tarangire National Park and head to Karatu which is the gateway to Lake Manyara and Ngorogoro Crater.
Depart the Tarangire and transfer to The Plantation Lodge and enjoy game drives in Lake Manyara National Park, where you can enjoy the afternoon to explore and get the first taste of your safari experience in Tanzania. Lake Manyara Park is known for its tree-climbing lions, plus you may be lucky enough to spot leopards and hyenas. You can also expect to see are large herds of elephants, wildebeests, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, warthog, and impala, as well as a huge primate population including common monkey, vervet monkey, and baboons. We can also add on a night drive, or canoe safari (seasonal) on the lake.
Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley. The alkaline soda of Lake Manyara, which covers 230 square kilometers, attracts pink flamingos and other birdlife. You’ll also see resident hippo pods at the lake.

Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro Crater is a unique natural phenomenon and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Crater is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking wildlife safari sites in the world, with the 600-meter high crater wall offering incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. You can expect to see a diverse range of wildlife, including buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, zebra, hippo, and elephant. There’s also a huge population of predators: lion, hyena, jackal, cheetah, and leopard. The resident population of black rhinos is a real treat, as they’re very difficult to spot elsewhere in Tanzania.

Transfer to Central Serengeti
Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous national park. The Serengeti offers some of the best wildlife viewings in Africa and is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth, the Great Migration. Every year, over two million wildebeest and zebra migrate north from Serengeti National Park to the Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya.
Home for the next two nights is Olmara Camp located on the Eastern plains in the Soit le Motonyi region. It is located in the heart of the Serengeti and this unique lodge has stunning views spanning across the Serengeti.
This small camp consists of 8 tented suites, 3 stargazing tents and 2 family tents, relax in the very comfortable mess tent and enjoy delicious meals in the large dining area.

Enjoy your final safari trip in the Serengeti during a game drive south through the Soit le Motonyi region.
Today enjoy a full day in the Central Serengeti on morning and afternoon game viewing drives with your private guide. You can dictate the structure and focus of the day with your guide, you can even stay out on safari all day should you wish, with a picnic lunch from the lodge.
Apart from the Selous, this is the largest of all the Parks in Tanzania, summed up as 'one of the most unique areas in the world'. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale that has no

Depart Tanzania
Drive back from the Serengeti to Arusha today to complete your journey. Head on to another safari destination in Tanzania, or hop across the sea for some time relaxing by the beach on the paradise island of Zanzibar. Alternatively, head back to Arusha for your onward flight.
