Close by are series of emerald green swamps which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro providing sources of water to huge numbers of wallowing elephants, hippos, buffaloes and plains game. Amboseli/Lake Nakuru National Park

Breakfast and begin your journey to the Great Rift Valley arriving for lunch at Flamingo Hill Camp located inside Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park is world-famous for its enormous flocks of flamingos and over 400 species of birds found here. It's a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and at times the flamingos number in the millions, which is quite a spectacular sight. They are so numerous that from a distance the lake appears to be ringed in pink. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild giraffe and the Black and White rhino.
