Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

6:00 AM: Depart from Nairobi, driving through the spectacular Great Rift Valley Escarpment on your way to Maasai Mara. Weather permitting, we will make a brief stop to capture photos of the breathtaking landscape.

10:00 AM: Arrive in Maasai Mara and immediately begin a thrilling game drive through the reserve. This is your chance to witness the rich diversity of wildlife, including the Big 5, as you explore the expansive plains.

2:00 PM: After a morning of exciting game viewing, head to your hotel for check-in and enjoy a well-deserved lunch, resting and refueling for the next adventure.

Afternoon Game Drive: In the late afternoon, embark on an exciting evening game drive, where you’ll have another opportunity to see wildlife in the golden light of the setting sun, and possibly spot some more elusive animals. After a fantastic day of exploring Maasai Mara, return to camp for a delicious dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive, Village Tour and Lake Naivasha

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at your camp or hotel before checking out and embarking on a final morning game drive through Maasai Mara as you exit the park. On your way out of Maasai Mara, stop at a local Maasai village for a fascinating cultural experience. Interact with the Maasai families, learn about their traditions, and get a deeper insight into their way of life.
After bidding farewell to Maasai Mara, continue your journey to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a lakeside lodge, taking in the beautiful surroundings. After lunch, set off on a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha and head to the famous Crescent Island, where you’ll embark on a walking safari. Enjoy up-close encounters with giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, and other wildlife as you take in the stunning scenery of the island. After your walking safari, head back to the mainland and begin your drive back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at the airport or your city hotel.
