Day 1

At 07h00, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and driven to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey from Nairobi to the Masai Mara usually takes around 5 to 6 hours, depending on road conditions and stops along the way. Upon arrival at the reserve, you'll check in at your safari camp and have some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

In the afternoon, you'll embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara. Your experienced safari guide will take you through the park, searching for wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many others. After the game drive, you'll return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Explore Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, you'll head out for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is known for its abundant wildlife, including the annual wildebeest migration, where millions of wildebeest and other herbivores cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing lands. Witnessing this natural spectacle can be a highlight of your safari experience. During the day, you'll have a picnic lunch in the park, allowing you to maximize your time for wildlife sightings.

In the afternoon, you'll continue exploring different areas of the reserve, keeping an eye out for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and other fascinating animals and birds. After a full day of game drives, you'll return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

Rise early for breakfast, check out and depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. We will arrive at the lodge with enough time to settle in before lunch with some time to relax before we head out for a game drive. As you enter the park, keep your eyes peeled for the vibrant pink hues of thousands of flamingos that inhabit the lake. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its birdlife, and you'll have the opportunity to spot numerous species, including pelicans, marabou storks, and African fish eagles. Beyond the avian wonders, the park is home to rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon before retiring to your lodge for the night.
