Our driver will comfortably pick you up from your hotel at 6:30am in the early morning. We then start off together to Tsavo East National Park, where we arrive in time for a spectacular morning game drive with chances to spot Red Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippos, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras and an abundance of bird species. Game spotting in Tsavo East is usually fast and easy. After the morning game drive, we check in at our accommodation for lunch. We have time to relax and dip into the inviting swimming pool, then head for an exciting game viewing trip in the late afternoon.
There are many fascinating aspects to observe in the open areas of Tsavo East, such as the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows. An additional attraction is the Athi River flanked by stately Doum palms which, near the Manyani gate, forms the Lugard Falls, a long stretch of rippling white water cataracts and a favorite haunt for sunbathing Crocodiles.

Tsavo East National Park - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, we leave Tsavo East behind us and head for Amboseli National Park (254 kilometers distance, approx. 4 hours of drive). On a clear we marvel at majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as we approach the park. Upon entering, we enjoy a game drive en-route to our accommodation, arriving in perfect time for lunch. We have time to relax and dip into the inviting swimming pool, then we set out for a game drive. Amboseli is best known for its great herds of Elephants – you’ll often find plenty of them standing knee-deep in the water, spraying water, eating and bathing in the swamps to cool off. Predators stalk the herds of grazing animals, recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun, in a setting so lushly beautiful.
Cheetahs, Buffaloes, Giraffes, different types of Gazelle and rich plains game are but a few examples of the stunning wildlife found here. As the sun goes down on Amboseli National Park, we return to our accommodation for dinner.

Amboseli National Park - Ziwani Wildlife Sanctuary
After a night of relaxing sleep, we wake up early for a morning game drive, then return to our accommodation for breakfast, then depart Amboseli in direction of the Ziwani Wildlife Sanctuary (Voyager Ziwani). We arrive in good time for lunch and find time for a comfortable siesta. The sanctuary is located in Tsavo West National Park and lies in close proximity to a lake, where we can observe Hippos and Crocodiles against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
So far we have marveled at Kenya’s countless wonders from inside our Safari Van, now it’s time to get even closer! After lunch, we gather for an escorted game walk! You have read correctly: led by an experienced guide, we explore the area by foot! A rather unique experience! Still excited from this trip into the wilderness, we enjoy dinner, then head off for the day’s final game drive. In the evening hours, we have good chances of spotting grazing Hippos and all kinds of nocturnal game.

Voyager Ziwani - Tsavo West National Park
On our fourth day of Safari adventures, we greet the new day with a spectacular morning game drive right at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, we enjoy a delicious breakfast, before departing to Tsavo West National Park. On our way to Mzima Springs, where Hippos and Crocodiles can be watched from the safety of an underwater hide, we pass the impressive Shetani Lava Flow (“Shetani” means “devil” in Swahili). When the lava erupted some few hundred years ago, the locals thought that the devil himself was emerging from the earth. After returning from our adventure, we check in at our lodge and comfortably take lunch. We have time to relax until 4pm, then head off for a visit to the Park’s Rhino Sanctuary. We spot Elephants, Giraffes, an abundance of bird species and – of course – the endangered Black Rhinos. All against the backdrop of Tsavo West’s beautiful hilly landscape.

Tsavo West National Park - Mombasa
How to better start a new day in paradise than with setting out for more Safari adventures on a breathtaking game viewing trip? A last game drive in Tsavo West reveals more of the park's beauty. Hilly bushlands, dense vegetation and an astonishing richness of wildlife. Remember to keep a sharp lookout. You may witness a dramatic hunt, a solitary Leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree, or a herd of Elephants protecting their young from predators. Given the rich vegetation, the animals can be tricky to spot at times. This should not discourage you, as in fact it can make your Safari experience even more exciting. The reward is worth the extra patience!
We later enjoy a delicious breakfast at our accommodation, then go for a game drive en-route to Voi Town for lunch. Then we drive on towards Mombasa, where we safely arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon. Your Safari ends here, but you return home with the memories of a lifetime - that much is certain!
