You'll arrive in Botswana at Maun Airport and then take a short domestic flight to the Tau Pan airstrip. Tau Pan Lodge is the first semi-permanent camp inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. It offers truly incredible views from the elevated ridge of an ancient sand dune (an unusual experience in a land as flat as Botswana) and overlooks the famous Tau Pan, recognized for its stark beauty and remoteness.
The activities offered at Tau Pan include game drives, day trips to the well-known Deception Valley, Sunday, Piper and Passarge Pans, stargazing and nature walks with Bushman trackers. Species that can be found in the Kalahari include oryx, the desert-adapted springbok, jackals, the rare brown hyena, red-crested Korhaan and herds of wildebeest.

Day 3-4
Transfer to the Okavango Delta

Today, you'll head to the famous Okavango Delta by taking a short domestic flight from the Tau Pan airstrip to the Kwara Airstrip.
You'll be staying at Splash Camp, located in the heart of the Okavango Delta, within the Private Kwara Reserve. The Kwara Reserve shares a 30-kilometre water boundary with the famous Moremi Game Reserve and its unique location boasts both permanent water and seasonal flood plains, as well as extensive dry bush wilderness. With labyrinthine water channels and secret islands, this area offers the perfect delta experience and is considered to be amongst the best in Botswana for game-viewing activities.
Here, you can enjoy game drives, mokoro excursions, boat cruises, seasonal fishing, walking safaris, off-road game drives, and night safaris, which offer the opportunity of observing nocturnal predators in action.

Next, you'll take a one-hour flight from the Kwara Airstrip to Kasane Airport, then a road transfer to Ilala Lodge and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
