Our driver will comfortably pick you up from your hotel at 6:30 am in the early morning. You'll then start together to Tsavo East National Park, where you'll arrive in time for a spectacular morning game drive with chances to spot red elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, giraffes, gazelles, waterbucks, leopards, zebras and an abundance of bird species. Game spotting in Tsavo East is usually fast and easy. After the morning game drive, you'll check in at your accommodation for lunch. You'll have time to relax and dip into the inviting swimming pool. Then, you'll head for an exciting wildlife-viewing trip in the late afternoon.
There are many fascinating aspects to observe in the open areas of Tsavo East, such as the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows. An additional attraction is the Athi River flanked by stately Doum palms which, near the Manyani gate, forms the Lugard Falls, a long stretch of rippling white water cataracts and a favorite haunt for crocodiles.

Tsavo East National Park - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
On the second day of your safari, you'll start the new day with a cup of energizing coffee or tea and start an early morning game drive. At this early time of the day, you'll have a good chance of spotting the big cats of Tsavo. After arriving back at the lodge, you'll comfortably take your main breakfast and then head off to a final game drive in Tsavo East.
You'll depart to Taita Hills (Salt Lick), driving for a distance of approx. 80 kilometers. On arrival in the early afternoon, you'll enjoy lunch at the Taita Hills Lodge. Then, you'll depart to the Sarova Salt Lick Lodge, where you can observe animals in the water hole right next to you. Later, you'll hunt for more adventures in an afternoon game drive. Taita Hills is rich in physical attractions, including thorny bushlands, acacia forests, arid areas, savannahs, and swamps. Animals found here include elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and different types of birds such as ostriches, guinea fowl, and weaver birds.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Nairobi
On your third day of safari adventures, you'll wake up early for a morning game drive before returning to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you'll depart for Nairobi, take lunch on your way, and arrive at your respective hotel or the Nairobi airport in the early evening hours. Your safari ends here, but you take home a big smile and a lifetime of memories —that much is certain!
