2 travelers on Start dateTarangire National Park
You'll depart from Arusha after breakfast for the approximately two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you'll pass bustling Maasai villages and the vast, open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa.
Once you've entered Tarangire, you'll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. The river itself runs throughout the year and is a vital source of water for the animals of the region during the dry season. Lined with acacia and baobab trees, the river is regularly visited by the park's large elephant population as well as other herbivores such as zebras and antelopes.
A picnic lunch with a view of the river is a great way to take it all in but you'll have to keep on your toes as the local monkey population does its best to separate you from your lunch!
After your day's drive is done, you'll retire to your accommodation for the evening.

Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the world, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, “endless plains”.
The park has 6,900sq miles (18,000sq km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes. As for the big cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro CA
It is the migration of large mammals for which Serengeti is perhaps the most famous. Over 1.5 million wildebeest and about 400,000 zebras take part in this migration which essentially involves three famous and important protected areas—Serengeti and Ngorongoro in Tanzania and the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.
It is a clockwise migratory movement, during which sequence, the animals start arriving at the eastern Serengeti short grass plains in late November–December where calving of the wildebeests takes place. At the end of the long rains, the migration heads westwards and then turns north to arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve in late August –September. Have lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon, transfer to Ngorongoro with a game drive en route.
The park supports many species of wildlife including lion, African leopard, African elephant, cheetah, African buffalo, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, topi, eland, waterbuck, hyena, baboon, impala, African wild dog and giraffe.
