Pick-up from the airport / Masai Mara

After a meet and greet, you will depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara is situated in southwest Kenya and is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible, and spectacular ecosystems and possibly the world’s top safari big-game viewing ecosystem. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. It is also renowned for the annual migration of Thomson's gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti from July to October, also known as the great wildebeest migration.

You will arrive in time for lunch at the Mara Enkorok Camp whereafter you will visit the old cultural massi Villages in Masai mara. Later, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

Today's itinerary is flexible and you can plan and discuss the day’s schedule with your guide.

Option 1: You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive at around 7:30 am with a picnic lunch. This will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens during this time. Also, you'll have better chances to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge late in the afternoon.

Option 2: Choose a balloon ride in the early morning where you will be picked up from your camp and transferred to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon.

Option 3: Have an early morning game drive, return for breakfast, and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the pool. Go on another game drive in the evening in search of more animals and return for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Masai Mara through lake Naivasha to Nairobi

After breakfast you will depart for Nairobi but pass by Lake Naivasha for the famous lake Naivasha hippo boat ride.
After the boat trip, you will proceed to the animal sanctuary for a walking safari.

You will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your home bound flight.
