You will be picked up from the airport by one of our staff members. Depending on your arrival time, you will be transferred to your hotel. A city tour can be organized at an extra cost. Kampala - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route to Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll track rhinos and eat lunch at the sanctuary. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Murchison River Lodge. This lodge is built on the edge of the mighty River Nile overlooking hippo pods and one of Uganda’s most stunning parks (Murchison Falls).

After an early morning breakfast, you will go on a morning game drive in search of wildlife. You will have a chance to see animals such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, leopards (if you are lucky), and a variety of bird species. You’ll come back to the lodge and then go on a boat cruise to view water-loving animals such as water buffaloes, elephants, and crocodiles. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Murchison Falls National Park
Today you will eat breakfast and then hike to the top of the falls with a packed lunch in hand. These are the strongest waterfalls in the world. Be prepared to take some fantastic photos. Later you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and storytelling around the campfire.

Murchison Falls National Park - Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast we’ll begin our drive from Murchison Falls to Kibale National Park. The long drive through a variety of tea plantations is incredibly scenic. You’ll eat a packed lunch along the way. You’ll spend the late afternoon relaxing and enjoy a lovely view of the forest.

Today you will have the opportunity to track chimpanzees. It will take you about 2-3 hours of journeying through the forest to find them. Once they are located you will watch them go about their daily activities for an hour. After lunch you will go on a swamp walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This is a great location to see smaller monkeys and one of the finest birding trails in the country. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
Optional Activity: Chimpanzee Habituation
For an extra US $70 per person, you can participate in chimpanzee habituation tracking instead of the regular chimp tracking. This will take the whole day and you will be guaranteed to come face to face with chimps. This must be booked in advance because only six spots are available per day. Your swamp walk can be postponed to the next morning.

Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a morning cup of coffee, you will relax for a bit and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll have lunch at the Irungu Forest Safari Lodge and then go for an optional evening game drive in search for wildlife. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Queen Elizabeth National Park, together with the Kyambura and Kigezi Wildlife Reserves, forms one of the most diverse ecosystems in Africa. There are two lakes here, George and Edward, as well as the Kazinga Channel connecting them. Thousands of hippos populate the lake shorelines. Open savannah dotted with acacia and euphorbia trees provide a habitat for elephants, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, and big buffalo herds. An afternoon game drive is good for seeing many hippos and elephants. We’ll keep an eye out for the elusive leopard too.

Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today we’ll set off very early with a packed breakfast in hand for a game drive to catch the early risers in the Kasenyi Sector of the park. Expect to see elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and many others. Later you’ll return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you’ll go on a two-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will see a large concentration of wildlife along the riverbanks, including hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat safari, you’ll enjoy a game drive on your way back to the lodge.

Queen Elizabeth National Park - Lake Mutanda
Today you’ll drive about seven hours to Lake Mutanda, which is in the southwestern part of Uganda close to the borders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You’ll pass through a beautiful part of the country often referred to as “the Switzerland of Africa.” You’ll see lush countryside, bamboo forest, and have great views over the Virunga Mountains. For lunch, you stop at a local restaurant (cost not included). Your comfortable lodge overlooks the beautiful Lake Mutanda and the Virunga volcanoes. This will undoubtedly be one of the most spectacular views you have ever seen! Tomorrow you will depart from here for gorilla tracking, so it is best to get a good night's sleep.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Get up early and report to the park headquarters for a brief talk with the guide. From here you will make your way into the montane forest for an encounter with the mountain gorillas. You’ll listen to their voices, watch the young ones swing from tree to tree, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male: the silverback.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Mburo National Park
Today you will wake up early for breakfast and prepare for a transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have lunch en route at the Agip Motel or Igongo Cultural Center. You’ll then embark on a game drive within Lake Mburo National Park to see zebras, giraffes, impalas, sitatungas, bush barks, and much more. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Rwakobo Rock lodge.

Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala/Entebbe
After an early breakfast at the lodge, we will start our walking safari in search of zebras, giraffes, and other wildlife. We will then drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, stopping at the equator for lunch, the requisite snapshot, and a bit of souvenir shopping. Accommodations for tonight are not included.
