Arrive in Maun
You'll arrive in Botswana at Maun International Airport, the gateway to the country's best safari destinations. From here, it's a short internal flight to Camp Kalahari, a rustic safari camp located in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. Here, you can disconnect from modern life (there's no Wi-Fi out here) and reconnect with each other and with nature.
Hidden amongst palms and acacia trees on Brown Hyaena Island, this camp is right on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, next to Makgadikgadi-Nxai Pans National Park. The 12 Meru-style tents of Camp Kalahari are simple and authentic, yet also offer 4-poster beds, en-suite facilities and alfresco showers.
