Transfer to Kibale National Park

In the morning at 7:00 AM, following your breakfast, you will set off for Kibale Forest NP, arriving in the afternoon. On arrival, have lunch and later take a guided walk to Amabeere Ga Nyina Mwiru. After the walk, you head to your lodge and have dinner later in the evening. Enjoy a good night's rest.

Chimpanzee Tracking and Guided Nature Walk

Rise early and after breakfast, assemble at the Kanyanchu park offices by 7:00 AM for a briefing on the chimpanzee tracking code of conduct. The tracking can last for up to 3 or 4 hours. Return to the starting point, have lunch, and in the afternoon, head to the Bigodi wetland for bird watching. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge.

Transfer to Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, hit the road for the drive to Bwindi Forest National Park (5 to 6 hours). Expect to view the rare tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector when you drive via Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, check in at the camp and relax for tomorrow’s gorilla-trekking exercise.

Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Tour

After breakfast, assemble at the park offices at 7:00 AM where you will be briefed on the gorilla-trekking rules before embarking on your exciting search for the giant creatures. After this encounter, return to the starting point for a drive back to your camp. In the afternoon, take a visit to the Batwa community and discover more about their cultural experiences. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
