Our Great Adventures Uganda Driver Guide will be picked from Kigali International Airport or any Hotel in Kigali to start your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This journey is very scenic and will take you through a country of a thousand hills Rwanda to the Pearl of Africa Uganda. You cross over the boarder to Uganda at Katuna or Chanika boarders and make a stop at Kabale or Kisoro town before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for overnight.

Gorilla tracking and drive back to Kigali

This morning after your breakfast and with your packed lunch, you will drive to the National park offices for a briefing about the dos and the don’ts while on your Gorilla trekking. After that, you will be transferred to the starting point of your Gorilla walk. Please note that Gorilla family allocation depends on your interests, fitness and age though there is no guarantee as these Gorillas keeps moving and changing locations as you walk to them.

Please inform your guide of your interests and he will try to request for the Gorilla family of your choice before you start the trek into the Bwindi forest. Gorilla trekking can be strenuous and a certain level of fitness is required. Gorilla trekking can take from 30 minutes to three quarters of the day so one needs to prepare for both. Your guide will try to provide information about trees, spices of birds and other wildlife in the forest until you reach a given family of Gorillas.

After you will transfer back to Kigali to end the tour.
