Arrive in Johannesburg

On arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel and spend the day exploring Soweto and its surrounds. The tour starts with a visit to the prestigious Apartheid Museum or a visit to Soweto and explore other highlights including Hector Pieterson Memorial sites, Vilakazi Street, Mandela house and Tutu's house. Later, you'll return to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

This morning, you will be transferred to OR Tambo International Airport for your onward transfer to Mpumalanga. On arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your lodge. After freshening up, enter the world famous Kruger National Park and spend the afternoon game viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast before setting out to explore the magnificent Panorama Route. It is one of the most scenic routes in the region, offering glorious views, spectacular landscapes and exquisite waterfalls. Visit majestic sights including God’s Window, the Three Rondavels and Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon of its kind in the world, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the charming village of Graskop, one of the first gold mining camps in the country. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Kruger National Park

The day begins with a thrilling open vehicle game drive through Kruger National Park with pre-packed breakfast. Your guide will spoil you with sightings of the Big Five, general game and birdlife. Stop at the rest camp, and a short rest. Continue again through Kruger National Park. Later, we'll return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

This morning you will head towards the South Peninsula, stop at Hout Bay, ½hr Duiker Island boat trip (optional, for own account & time permitting), Chapman’s Peak (if open), Cape Point Nature Reserve, Cape of Good Hope. Return to Cape Town via Penguins (optional, for own account), Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Muizenberg, and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Return to the hotel.
