Day 2

After an early morning game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will go on a full-day game drive with a packed lunch in hand. You’ll search for popular residents along the Mara River, including zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, and the dangerous crocodiles. Meals and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Today you have the opportunity to go on a hot air balloon ride (cost not included). This ride takes you into the skies for the ultimate Masai Mara wildlife adventure. You’ll soar over game herds to the inner reaches of the park. Your ascent will take place in the early morning when the winds are calmest. Make sure to watch as the professional crew fills the balloon with hot air and the big, colorful bag slowly begins to bulge and take shape. You’ll then board the traditional wicker gondola basket while the expert pilot makes final adjustments.

Day 4

After an early morning breakfast, you’ll leave the Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch and check in at the lodge. Later you’ll go on a afternoon game drive to see one of the best ornithological spots in the park. Flamingos and the world famous white and black rhinos can be found here. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 6

Crater Lake

Today you’ll eat breakfast at 7:00am so you can be picked up by our driver-guide at 8:00am. The road to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha along a rough and bumpy road. You’ll pass by huge greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market. You will arrive at the lake (which was formed by a volcanic eruption) at approximately 9:30am to begin your morning game walk.

This walk makes it possible for you to get up close to giraffe and many varieties of antelope. It’s a great opportunity for photos! The guides will answer questions about the animals, birdlife, etc. and point out the rocks formed due to volcanic activity. At 12:00pm you will leave for lunch at Carnelley’s Camp. In the afternoon you can enjoy some optional activities like cycling or boating.

Later you’ll go on a game drive within the park, which lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Kibo Safari Camp.

Incredible views of Mt Kilimanjaro will be visible the whole time. Later you’ll return to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay at the Kibo Safari Camp.

You’ll arrive at the Ngulia Safari Lodge in time for check in and lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the rhino sanctuary. Maybe on your way back you’ll be lucky enough to see a leopard. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
