Dar es Salaam -Nyerere national Park

You will be picked up in Dar es Salaam and begin your drive to the Nyerere national Park. When you arrive at selous safari lodge you will check in and enjoy a hot lunch. After lunch, you will take off for your boat safari in the Rufiji river where you will see hippos and a variety of bird species. After the game drive, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay. The Rufiji River is the longest and largest river in Tanzania, flowing from the southwest to the Indian Ocean. It has a rich history, a diverse basin, and a controversial hydroelectric project.

Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a packed lunch in hand to enjoy a full-day game drive in the Selous Game /nyerere national Park Reserve. Selous is well known for its animals and boat safaris. Lion, elephant, zebra, and giraffe can be viewed all over the park. After your game drive, you will return to the lodge, check out and take off for a sunset boat safari on the Rufiji River. After the boat safari, you will travel to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Nyerere national Park - Dar es Salaam

You will rise up early and take part in a unique walking safari and then return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will check-out and drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving before dark. We will make sure you arrive in Dar es Salaam in time to proceed to Zanzibar by ferry or by flight. We'll also arrange tours in Zanzibar. This is where your safari will end.
