On arrival in the country, you will be picked up by our driver from the airport to the office for a little briefing about your tour. Day 2

Nairobi - Tsavo East

Nairobi - Tsavo East

You'll be picked up from the hotel in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park which is known for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man-eating lions. Enjoy a game drive en route to Voi Safari Lodge. Check-in and have lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, have another game drive at the park. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will spend a full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and a visit to via Aruba Dam. Day 4

Tsavo East - Tsavo West

Have an early morning game drive then return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, leave Tsavo East for Tsavo West with a game drive en-route to Ngulia Safari Lodge. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the rhino sanctuary and return to the lodge where there is usually a leopard and if you are lucky, you will see it. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the Ngulia Safari Lodge.

After breakfast, we'll depart for a full-day game drive with packed lunch provided. Other interesting places to visit are the Roaring Rocks, which derive their name from the wind that hurtles through them. From here, there are wonderful views of Tsavo from the top of a 98m rock face. Similar views can be experienced from the poacher's lookout. The volcanic Chaimu Crater, less than 200 years old, composed of black coke is equally worth visiting and can be climbed if one is interested. The area is a good place to look out for klipspringer, a small antelope that is as agile as its Swahili name mbuzi mawe(mountain goat). In the southwest corner of Tsavo West is Lake Jipe through which the Kenyan-Tanzanian border runs.
Dinner and overnight stay are at the lodge.

You will have early breakfast, then proceed for a morning game drive with a visit to Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and fish in crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. Later, proceed to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch and check into Amboseli Setrium. Enjoy an afternoon game drive within the Amboseli which lies on the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Kibo Safari Camp.

You will be picked up from the hotel and driven to the northern side of the country passing the coffee plantation to the foot of Mount Kenya where you will arrive early in the afternoon. After lunch, you will be taken for a walk at the Mau Mau Cave where the locol people were fighting with British colonialists. Dinner and your overnight stay are at The Nelion Hotel.

You will be picked up from your lodge early in the morning after breakfast. You will then be driven north past the equator to the northern frontier district. Continue to the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve and check into your hotel. Lunch will be at the lodge. There will be time to settle in before your safari adventure. Set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge before dark. Dinner will be in the Samburu Sopa Lodge.

After your wake-up call and then set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours, temperatures are low, thus providing a favourable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, cheetah and leopard roam the vast grasslands in search of their next meal which may include an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe-inspiring!
You will be back at the lodge by 8.30 am to enjoy your sumptuous breakfast. Lunch will be at 12.30 pm at the camp. Then its time for leisure to relax by the riverside watching crocodiles. You will then have an afternoon game drive starting at 4.00 pm. Return to the campsite before dark. Dinner will be in the camp at 7.30 pm. Your overnight stay will be at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in the reserve, en-route to the gate. Drive southwards to the equator for a brief stop. Here, the locals do a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator. After the brief stop, drive to the Thompsons Falls for a photo stop then down into the Great Rift Valley. As you ascend the eastern wall of the Rift Valley, lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Lake Naivasha Resort.

Day 12

Have breakfast at 7.00 am. Thereafter, you will be picked up by our driver guide at 8.00 am. The road to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha along, a rough and bumpy road down the edge of Lake Naivasha. Passing by huge Greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market. You will arrive at Green Crater Lake at approximately 9.30 am and begin your morning game walk. The Green Crater Lake was formed by a volcanic eruption. The group will walk in a reserve where it’s possible to get up close to giraffes and many varieties of antelopes. It’s a great opportunity for photos. The guides will answer questions about the animals, birdlife, etc. and point out the rocks formed due to the volcanic activity. At 12.00 pm, leave for lunch at ‘Carnelley’s Camp’ about 20 minutes back down the road toward Naivasha town. In the afternoon, you will enjoy some optional activities like cycling around the village or hiring a small power boat for a trip out onto the lake.
