You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town, you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming trek and do an equipment check to make sure you have all the necessary mountain gear. Gear which is missing can be rented on this day. Overnight at Weru Weru River Lodge (or alternative).

Marangu Gate (1860m) to Mandara Hut (2700m)
After breakfast, you will be collected from your lodge in Moshi and taken to the Marangu gate. Once the necessary paperwork has been completed, your trek can begin and you will soon be hiking through the dense rainforest. Alongside the impressive vegetation, you will have the chance to catch a glimpse of some primates as you head to the Mandara Hut. After a well-earned rest, your guide can take you to the Maundi Crater where you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Kenyan interior.

Mandara Hut (2700m) to Horombo Hut (3700m)
The day begins with an early breakfast. Shortly after you have left Mandara Hut, you will reach the timberline and then enter the heath and moor zone. Approximately 4 – 6 hours later, the Horombo Hut will come into sight, standing at an altitude of 3700m. From the hut, you will have fantastic views overlooking Mawenzi, Kibo and the wide plain of the Masai Steppe.

Horombo Hut (3700m) to Kibo Hut (4700m)
Today’s stage is long and tough. The well-built trail passes the “Last Water point” which is followed by the so-called “saddle”. This near vegetation less plateau joins the main summit Kibo with Mawenzi. Today’s destination is the Kibo Hut that is usually reached in about 5 - 6 hours. Here, you will enjoy an early evening meal followed by an early night, as the night will be short.

Kibo Hut (4700m) to Uhuru peak(5895m) & down to Horombo Hut (3700m)
Today is “The Big Day” - the summit stage. You will begin your final ascent around midnight which will be long and strenuous. Passing the Hans Meyer Cave at 5220m, the climb slowly but surely goes upwards. At sunrise, you will reach Gillman’s Point (5681m) – the crater rim of Kilimanjaro – where the sun will slowly start to warm up the land. You will have soon forgotten the cold of the night and after a further hike of 1 - 2 hours, you will reach Uhuru Peak at 5895m. On your return to Kibo Hut, a warm meal awaits you followed by a 1 - 2-hour break before proceeding back down to Horombo Hut.

Acclimatization trek to Zebra Rocks (4020m) then back to Horombo Hut (3700m)
Today serves as an acclimatization day. This should not be underestimated and greatly improves your chance of success in reaching the summit. After a relaxing breakfast, a 4-hour trek follows to the Zebra Rocks (4020m). The distinctive black and white stripes give the rock formation its name. On your return to Horombo Hut, a warm lunch will be waiting for you. You can relax in the afternoon and regain your strength for the hike the following day.

Horombo Hut (3700m) to Marangu Gate (1860m)
The last stage passes through the heath and moor zone to the Mandara Hut (2700m) where a warm lunch is waiting for you. Soon, you will once again pass the tropical rainforest and after a total time of 6 hours trekking, you will be back at the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (1860m). After saying goodbye to your mountain guides, a short transfer follows to take you back to your hotel in Moshi where you can take a warm and relaxing shower and celebrate your success in reaching the summit of the Kilimanjaro before transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Dar-es-salaam.

Dar-es-salaam - Kigoma - Mahale MNP
Pick up from the hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma. Arrive at Kigoma airport. Pick up on your arrival and transfer to Sigunga village where you will take a boat to Mahale mountain national park. Have a picnic lunch at Sigunga village before boating to Mahale. The boat will take approximately 3 to 4 hour. Arrival Mahale at evening time, take the room, enjoy the sunset and swimming over lake Tanganyika. Dinner and overnight at mango Bandas.

Mahale chimps tracking
After breakfast. 08h00 start Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. The hike takes you to the chimp’s habitation areas are accessible and not strenuous, although being in good physical condition will ease the strain of walking through the jungle! Up close, observing the endangered primates is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Meals and overnight at Mango Bandas.

Mahale Chimpanzee trekking
After breakfast, you go for Chimpanzee trekking. Mahale offers a number of outstanding attractions for visitors, from tracking wild habituated chimpanzees, to mountain climbing. Walking safaris in the beautiful, lowland forest allow close encounters with a vast array of birds and animals, including a group of habituated chimpanzees. The opportunity to track chimps in their natural habitat is Mahale's foremost tourist attraction. In the evening time, you will have time to do swimming and leisure at the beach. Mahale to Kigoma
Breakfast 07h00, After breakfast followed by boat transfer back to Sigunga village. Pick up on arrival and drive back to Kigoma town, have late lunch at the hotel, afternoon visit Dr Livingstone memorial centre at Ujiji village, dinner and overnight in Coast view resort hotel.
Kigoma to Dar-es-salaam
After breakfast picks up and transfers to the airport on time for your flight back to Dar-es-salaam, You will take a domestic flight (Air Tanzania). We will provide airport transfer so you will be picked up on your arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Tanzanite executive inn. B/B.
Dar-es-salaam to Selous Game Reserve
Morning at 08:30 a.m. pick up and drive to Selous Game Reserve. You will have a picnic lunch on the way and the journey will take about 5hours through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. In the afternoon embark on the boat safari, where you'll admire hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Selous game reserve to Mikumi national park
After breakfast walking safari 2/3hrs and proceed with game drive en route to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro over the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and past small local villages and farms for sunset game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight. F/B.

Mikumi national park game drive
The morning after breakfast, full day game viewing in the park. The Mikumi floodplain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, hippo and elephant. The Mikumi elephants are mainly grazers and do not causes damage.
