5-Day Budget Tour Lake Naivasha-Crater/Lake Nakuru/Mara

Nairobi/Lake Naivasha-Sonachi Green Crater Lake

In the morning you will be picked either from the airport or your Nairobi hotel then depart from Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley where you will have a stopover to admire the scenic views of the escarpment before you proceed to Lake Naivasha where you will arrive in time for a guided walk to explore the volcanic Sonachi Green Crater Lake where you will have a chance to see Colobus Monkey, giraffe, buffalo, gazelles, zebra etc not forgetting a chance to spot different species of birds then proceed to budget camp or guest house to wait for lunch. Later you will explore Lake Naivasha on boat for an hour's ride with chances of seeing hippo and different species of birds. You will return to budget camp or guest house to wait for dinner followed by overnight. Meal Plan (Lunch & dinner).

Lake Naivasha/Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast you will depart from Lake Naivasha and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will arrive in time for game drive as you proceed to WCK guest house where lunch will be served. Later you will have more time to explore the park in search of Rhino, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, lion etc. You will also have a chance to explore the shores of Lake Nakuru which is home to a variety of water birds including Yellow-billed Pelican, Marabou Stork, Hammer kop, Fish Eagle among others and with luck you might see flamingos. Return to WCK guest house to wait for dinner followed by overnight. Meal Plan (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Lake Nakuru National Park/Maasai Mara game reserve

After breakfast you will continue with your safari from Lake Nakuru National Park to the renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve which is Kenya's premier game reserve. The Mara is actually the northern portion of the great plain’s ecosystem in neighbouring Tanzania called the Serengeti. It is the home of the "big five" - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant, as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe and vast herds of plains antelope and numerous other wildlife. You will arrive in time for lunch at budget camp/guest house. Later you will proceed for game drive before you return to budget camp/guest house to wait for dinner followed by overnight. Maasai Mara Game Reserve-Greater Mara & Mara Triangle

Optional hot air balloon ride at extra cost. After breakfast with picnic lunch you will spend the full day exploring the expansive Greater Mara and Mara Triangle in search of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, rhino, buffalo, lion, cheetah, leopard and other plains game with a visit to the mara river where you might have a chance to see hippo and crocodile not forgetting a chance to witness the wildebeest migration if you are visiting in July/September months.
