Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival in Nairobi, a representative will meet and assist you through immigration and customs before your guest manager escorts you by private vehicle to your hotel. You'll enjoy a welcome safari briefing at your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure.

Breakfast will be served at your hotel before setting off on a road transfer to Wilson Domestic Airport for your light aircraft flight to Samburu. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Elephant Bedroom Camp, set under a riverine forest on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River.

On Safari in Samburu National Reserve
You'll hop on the open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle for the day's wildlife viewing activities through Samburu's beautiful scenery, with its dry plains, meandering rivers, and Mount Kenya as a backdrop. The park hosts a good number of lions and leopards and offers the opportunity to see the Samburu special five, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk antelope, and Somali ostrich. In between exciting game drives relax at the camp's plunge pool or in the vibrant safari-style lounge while gazing at the camp's regular elephant, monkey, and impala visitors.

Day 5
Off to Masai Mara National Reserve
Off to Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll depart after breakfast to Samburu Airstrip for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara. Immediately, you'll begin wildlife viewing, passing wildlife herds on the vast savannah plains. As you drive towards your accommodation, you will experience excellent food, personalized service, and traditional Kenyan hospitality to further compliment your tent's riverfront location.

On Safari in the Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing in the Masai Mara, offering you the opportunity to follow herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. You'll watch giraffes and elephants as they create a magical silhouette against the treeless savannah. You may even be lucky enough to catch one of the big cats stalking its prey. In between game drives, you will relax at camp, on the banks of the Talek River, while overlooking the plains of the Masai Mara.

You will enjoy your breakfast before a transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson Domestic Airport in Nairobi. Your guest representative will meet and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward travel arrangements.
