Transfer To Bwindi National Park

Arrive at Kigali International Airport, meet our driver guide and drive to Bwindi Forest National Park. Enjoy this 4-hour drive with spectacular views of the Virunga volcanoes, Rwanda's rolling hills, and the beautiful green villages of Kabale. On reaching Kabale town, connect to the Ruhija sector in the eastern part of Bwindi Forest National Park. You can go on a cultural visit in the evening if time and weather allow. Head to Broadbill Forest Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Kigali

Have an early breakfast, then transfer with your packed lunch to the Bwindi headquarters in Rushaga for a pre-trekking briefing. Here, you will be grouped with 7 other travelers and allocated a gorilla family. At 8:00 am, hike into the jungle to meet the gorillas. This hike may be long or short, depending on the location of the gorillas. On meeting the gorillas, you will spend an hour in their presence. Enjoy their human-like character, take photos, capture videos and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Hike back to the lodge, refresh and transfer back to Kigali for your return flight. This marks the end of your tour.
