Flying From Zanzibar To Nyerere NP(Selous Game Reserve) & Game Drive

You'll have a morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar( Stone Town) for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park (Selous) at around 6:00 AM, Once you arrive at Mtemere Airstrip in Selous at around 6:30 am, you will be met by our tour guide with Mid Morning tea or Coffee, and will brief you about your full-day game drive.

You will drive into the vast Selous Game Reserve/ Nyerere national park to explore the diverse wildlife and undisturbed nature for a full day. Countless elephants and buffaloes, pride of lions, giraffes, zebras and impalas are quite common.
Selous is also quite famous for having a huge population of African wild dogs.

Enjoy a tasty picnic lunch break from a safe vantage point while taking in the beautiful scenery and wildlife in their natural habitat. In the evening you will return to Selous Kinga Lodge for overnight

Boat Safari & Flying Back To Zanzibar

Begin your day with an early morning wake-up call at 6:30 AM, accompanied by a refreshing cup of coffee or tea. Shortly after, embark on an immersive bush/nature walk led by an experienced bushman with armed ranger. This guided walk offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, gaining insights into the region’s diverse wildlife and indigenous plant life.

Return to the lodge by 8:30 AM to enjoy a hearty breakfast, followed by a period of relaxation before your next adventure. At 10:00 AM, set out on a scenic boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can witness an abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat. By 12:30 PM, you will return to the lodge for a delicious hot lunch.

After lunch, take some time to unwind at the lodge before your afternoon flight to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival, a dedicated driver will be ready to provide a seamless transfer to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and comfortable conclusion to your safari experience.
