Arusha to Lake Natron (Ol Doinyo Lengai)

In the morning meet the driver-guide at your hotel and drive to Lake Natron. On arrival, you will visit Lake Natron to see flamingos.
Lake Natron is one of the major breeding sites for the flamingos in the area. After dinner, you will relax waiting for the mountain climbing which starts around midnight due to the hotter temperatures during day time.

Ol Doinyo Lengai – Arusha

You'll continue your climb in the early hours of the morning intending to reach the summit in time to witness the sunrise as it illuminates the Great Rift Valley below. After reaching the summit, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the salt flats of Lake Natron to the north, the Kenyan border in the distance, snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro and the Great Rift Valley to the east, and the stretching Ngorongoro Highlands and Ngorongoro Crater to the south.

With your guide, you will explore the peak and enjoy a picnic breakfast at the summit of active Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano before beginning your climb down the mountain. You'll enjoy the refreshing waterfalls and swimming after descending. After a hot lunch at the camping, you will drive back to Arusha where your safari ends upon arrival.
