You will depart Nairobi on a scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Enjoy a morning game drive en route to Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge for check-in. Later in the afternoon, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park, returning before sunset for dinner. You will overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Today, enjoy scheduled game drives in Amboseli, an amazing park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. With grasslands crossing the Kenya and Tanzania border, this park is popular for getting close to wild elephants. Amboseli comprises a grove of acacia trees and golden savannah plains, and close by are a series of emerald green swamps fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. This provides water sources to huge numbers of wallowing elephant, hippo, buffalo and plains game. You will overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3

Amboseli - Nairobi - Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. At Wilson Airport, you will be met by your tour driver-guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle. Then, depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving for lunch and an afternoon game drive. You will overnight at Julia's River Camp.

You will have a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries and punctuated by marshes and forests. Located in southwest Kenya, Masai Mara is world famous for its 580 square miles of land where over 95 kinds of mammals and 570 types of birds live. It is also renowned for its huge population of lions. The reserve is home to all the “Big 5” and supports the highest density of wildlife to be seen anywhere. You will overnight at Julia's River Camp.

After an early breakfast at Julia's River Camp, you will drive to Isebania at the Kenyan and Tanzanian border. After brief customs and immigration formalities, you will proceed to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to Serengeti Kati Kati Camp, where you will overnight.

Today, you will enjoy game drives in the Serengeti. Serengeti is home to the largest animal migration on the planet. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. They return up north during the longer rainy season from April to June. As the migration is completely dependent on rainfall, the location of the herds may vary from year to year, but your guide will know where to locate the animals and where to see them best. You will overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp.

Day 7

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti. Every year, travellers from all over the world flock here to encounter scenes that have fascinated explorers throughout history. Thousands of zebras migrate across emerald grasslands, and prides lions feast on a hard-earned kill with packs of hyenas on standby, waiting to join the feast.

Then, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, enjoy a picnic lunch at Ol Duvai Gorge, where Dr. Leakey discovered the earliest ancestors of humankind. Proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight are at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp.

After an early breakfast, you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full-day game drive. Grass steppes and acacia forests are home to almost all the species of animals found in the East African savannah. In only a few hours, you can spot all the "Big 5" (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard). After a picnic lunch, drive to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or the airport for your onward departure flight.
