Day 1

Depart Arusha for Lake Manyara National Park which is set between the Rift Valley's western escarpment and the shallow alkaline waters of Lake Manyara. Enjoy a full day game drive in the park with picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans and cormorants and is home to over 400 other species of birds, making it a bird watcher’s paradise. Mammals in the park include wildebeests, zebras, bushbucks, waterbucks, tiny Kirk's dik-diks, hippos, giraffes, leopards, lions, baboons and troops of noisy blue monkeys. Overnight at Lake Manyara Wildlife Camp.

Day 2

Lake Manyara/Lake Natron/Mount OL Doinyo Lengai

Lake Manyara/Lake Natron/Mount OL Doinyo Lengai

Depart Lake Manyara and make your way to Mount OL Doinyo Lengai located to the south of Lake Natron. OL Doinyo Lengai means "The Mountain of God" in Maasai language. OL Doinyo Lengai is an active volcano with immense ecological, geological and cultural value and is part of the larger volcanic system of the East African Rift Valley. After lunch enjoy afternoon nature walk to the shores of Lake Natron to view flamingo and other water birds to be found here. Overnight at Lake Natron Camp which is located on the southern end of the lake on an old volcanic lava flow. The unique location of the camp offers superb panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley in all directions. The camp comprises of six tents all named after the surrounding mountains that lie parallel to the fresh water streams flowing into Lake Natron.

Visits to Lake Natron, Ol Donyo Lengai and the surrounding region mainly focus on remoteness, the unique scenery, beautiful landscapes, spectacular escarpments and volcanic mountains one of which is even active today! Lake Natron is a soda lake and is one of the most alkaline lakes in the world. The lake is a haven for literally thousands of lesser flamingo and is one of the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth. The lake is also famous for very interesting nature walks. Walk out across the baked mud to the shores of the great soda lake itself to view hot water springs and thousands of flamingo. Drive to the Ngare Sero Gorge and walk to the waterfalls along the Ngare Sero River. Participate in a mountain trek or a visit to an authentic Maasai homestead. Overnight at Lake Natron Camp.

Day 4

Breakfast and depart for Serengeti National Park arriving on time for lunch. Thereafter enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp, which is scenically located along one of the main annual migration corridors for over one million wildebeest, half a million zebras and gazelles and their accompanying cast of predators. It is a place of infinite calm and offers timeless blend of classical safari rusticity and world-class accommodation.

Day 6

Early morning game drive. Breakfast and depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way you will make a brief visit of OL Dupai Gorge (originally misnamed Olduvai), which is the most famous archaeological location in East Africa. It is here that the remains of the earliest human beings were found, making Africa the “Cradle of Mankind.”
Proceed on with your journey arriving for dinner and overnight stay Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge which is set on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater the largest intact caldera in the world.

Day 7

Ngorongoro/Tarangire National Park

Early breakfast and drive down to the floor of the crater for whole day Ngorongoro Crater safari with picnic lunch.
Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World and hosts one of the most unique ecosystems on earth with over 20,000 large grazing mammals and the largest concentration of predators calling it home.
Thereafter depart for Tarangire National Park arriving late afternoon at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge which is located in a shaded grove overlooking the picturesque seasonal Lake Burunge in an area of dense bush known for its populations of dry country antelope such as lesser kudu and gerenuk. Accommodation is in spacious and attractively rustic en-suite tents built on stilted platforms and shaded by Makuti roofs.

Enjoy whole morning game drive to view great variety of wildlife found in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is the fourth largest National Park in Tanzania and its very diverse habitats make it a delight to explore. Magnificent 1000-year-old giant baobab trees punctuate the park and great herds of elephant and other game seasonally swell the already large number of wildlife. After lunch drive back to Arusha. You will be dropped in Arusha town or at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
