Upon arriving in Maun from your international flight, you'll be transferred to a charter flight bound for Pelo Camp.
"Pelo" means "heart" in Setswana, fittingly named for its heart-shaped island in the Jao Concession. This camp offers an authentic Delta experience—remote, wild, and genuine.
The camp's main area features a tented dining space and lounge beneath towering date palms, jackalberry, and mahogany trees. A refreshing plunge pool, an outdoor boma, and a raised lookout deck are perfect for sundowners. Five intimate guest tents with covered verandas include en-suite bathrooms with both indoor and outdoor showers.
Pelo Camp’s low-impact, carbon-neutral activities focus on unobtrusive wildlife viewing, with water-based adventures like motorboat cruises and mokoro excursions.

Linyanti Concession

On Day 4, you'll be transferred from Pelo Camp to Linyanti between 11 am and 2 pm, with an afternoon activity planned upon your arrival.
Linyanti Tented Camp, ideal for families and small groups, offers an exclusive experience in the wildlife-rich Linyanti Concession. Known for its remoteness and vast open spaces, the camp overlooks scenic marshes and floodplains. Its four spacious, en-suite tents, styled after early explorers, are built on raised decks, offering impressive views. The main area provides a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the passing wildlife.
The camp works closely with local authorities to support wildlife conservation, focusing on IUCN Red List species such as African wild dogs, elephants, lions, and roan antelope.
Activities here include day and night game drives, walking safaris with an armed guide and if there is enough water even motorboat cruises and mokoro safaris.

On your final morning you will be flown back to Maun in time for all direct, connecting flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town or Addis Ababa.
