Day 1
Nairobi - Aberdare National Park

You will be met at your place of accommodation in Nairobi or JKIA Airport by the company representative and the driver guide, briefing about your safari then you will depart for the Aberdare National Park. The 3 hours’ drive gets you at your base hotel; the Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to the Ark Tree Lodge located inside the Park. Here you will watch wildlife from the comfort of the hotel / at the safety of your balcony. The habitats of this park include the Lion, Leopard, African Elephant, African Hunting Dog, Giant Forest Hog, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Waterbuck, Cape Buffaloes, Suni, Side-Striped Jackal, Eland, Duikers Olive Baboon, Black and White Colobus Monkey and Sykes Monkey. Rarer sightings include those of the Golden Cat and the Bongo - an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Dinner and overnight stay at the Ark as you continue watching the game at the salt lit water hole.

Day 2
Aberdare National Park - Lake Naivasha

After breakfast you will check out and depart for Lake Naivasha. On your way you will have a brief stopover at the breathtaking Thompson Falls. You will then proceed to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch the driver will assist you get the boat men who will take you for a boat ride to Lake Naivasha, Crescent Island. You do a short briefing from boat men then proceed for the ride. The boat takes you on a scenic tour of the lake with a visit to the Island which is an Animal and Bird Sanctuary on the Eastern Side of the Lake. A number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environs such as Maasai giraffe, zebra, dikdiks, steenbok, impala, gazelles, hippos and at night. You spend some time wandering around at your own pace and enjoy the peace and quiet broken only by the sounds of the Islands wild inhabitants. At 1700 hrs you will return to where you had left your driver then drive to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Day 3
Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru & back

After breakfast you will depart for the neighbouring salty Lake Nakuru. Within an hour you will arrive for a game drive around this lake with a break for lunch at the lodge within the park. After lunch you will go for another game drive around this Lake, famous for its rhinoceros sanctuary. Other wildlife include; Rothschild giraffe, the African cape buffaloes and other smaller species such as the Thompsons gazelle. It is also a prime area to see the Nocturnal Leopard on a lucky day. At 1700 hours you will go back to Lake Naivasha. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Day 4

After breakfast you will depart for Maasai Mara with a game drive enroute. You drive through the beautiful flower farms of Naivasha along the floor of the rift valley. You will arrive in time for lunch. Upon arrival you will check in, have lunch and relax as you prepare for your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of East Africa's top safari destinations. The game reserve incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile reverie woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. Returning from your first foray into Masai Mara you will have dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.

Day 5

On this day you will take breakfast at the camp then depart for a full day game drive with packed lunch. The game drive takes you in search of the big five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Back to lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp.

Day 6

After breakfast you will check out and depart for Nairobi with a stopover in Narok Town for lunch. After lunch will proceed to arrive Nairobi at about 1530 hrs and head to JKIA airport to check in for your flight to Diani. The one hour Jet departs lands you in Diani airport where you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the beautiful Swahili beach resort for a 4 nights’ leisurely stay on Halfboard accommodation.

After breakfast you will check out of the hotel, leave your luggage with the concierge and have some more time at the beach. You will thereafter return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch you will be transferred Moi International airport to check in for your flight to Nairobi where you will connect your onward flight home.
