Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You will be met by our representative at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport on arrival for a short tour briefing. Thereafter you will drive to Amboseli National Park, famous for its big game - elephants, lions and cheetahs are the main attractions - and for its great scenery beauty. Amboseli embodies five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lake-bed - Lake Amboseli. These are open plains; extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodland; rocky, lava strewn thorn-bush country; swamps and marshes; and at the western end of the reserve, above Namanga, the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok rising to over 2,760m (8.300ft) and still for the most part zoologically unexplored. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Full day game drive or two game runs are planned today, both which will introduce you to the intense beauty and drama that fills each day here. Predators stalk the herds of grazing animals, recreating the age-old drama of life and death under the African sun in a setting so lush and beautiful. Depending on the guest, you could return early to the hotel to enjoy a refreshing swim and enjoy the views of the beautiful Mt. Kilimanjaro.
