You have two full days on safari in Majete. Rise up early this morning to the sound of Majete waking up, before sipping on some warm Malawian coffee and heading out into the bush on your morning safari. This is a brilliant time for spotting big cats in action.
Following poaching and habitat destruction, Majete has bounced back to the wildlife haven it once was with over 12,000 animals including the ‘Big Five’, zebra, eland, hippo and birds such as Boehm’s bee-eater and the elusive African finfoot.
Return to your lodge for a hot breakfast, and a few hours to relax and take in your tranquil surroundings next to the pool. Afternoon tea is served on the veranda before your evening activity boat safari or game drive. You’ll return to the lodge for a three-course dinner, then sit around the fire with your guide, hearing their stories from the wild and looking out for bush babies in the trees.
