Chobe Floodplain, Chobe National Park
The next day, your morning and afternoon game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African Fish Eagle. The Chobe River Floodplain is an amazing wildlife-viewing area where water attracts large herds of buffalos, elephants, zebras, and other herbivores. Due to the proliferation of prey, predators are likely to be close at hand.

Savuti, Chobe National Park
You'll head south, away from the Chobe River, further into the heart of Chobe National Park. As you continue your search for wildlife, you will traverse the drier region of Savuti, where bull elephants dot the plains. Savuti is very well known for its predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even African wild dogs. The Savuti Channel has started flowing again after being dry for the last 30 years. The arrival of water is changing the landscape as well as accommodating different species that historically have not been able to survive in the rather arid plains of Savuti. This exciting event has allowed large breeding herds of elephants as well as buffalos to visit the area. Camping will be in private designated campsites with en-suite bush ablutions on every tent and you will go on safari drives here to explore Southern Chobe National Park for 2 days.
