Whole day in Tarangire with game drives. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the reserve and is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem. During the dry season animals are forced to move closer and closer to the river in search of water. Tarangire is home to Tanzania's largest population of African elephants. Early morning game drive before breakfast. Drive to OL Dupai Gorge which is known as the “Cradle of the entire mankind”. Enjoy picnic lunch and proceed further to Lake Manyara National Park arriving late in the afternoon. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge which stands high on the edge of a towering escarpment with panoramic views over the glittering alkaline waters of Lake Manyara.
