In the morning after breakfast, you'll meet with our driver-guide who will drive you to Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival you’ll be welcomed with a delectable lunch, offering a taste of local flavors amidst the stunning surroundings. You'll set out on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you'll glide through the water, surrounded by the reserve's breathtaking beauty. This experience provides an excellent opportunity to observe aquatic life up close. Keep your eyes peeled for hippos lounging in the shallows, crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, and a variety of bird species that call this lush environment home.
In the evening, you'll return to Mloka Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You'll enjoy a peaceful evening in your comfortable accommodation, reflecting on the day’s discoveries and anticipating the adventures that await.

Nyerere is renowned for its impressive wildlife populations. Today, you'll have the opportunity to witness some of the park’s most iconic residents. As you traverse the diverse terrain, keep your eyes open for large herds of elephants, known for their majestic presence and intricate social structures. You'll encounter massive buffalo herds roaming the savannahs, and spot bush bucks, kudus, lions, giraffes, and elands in their natural habitat.
Each turn and sighting promises a new and exciting encounter, making every moment of your safari truly memorable. You’ll return to the comfortable Mloka Safari Lodge. You'll enjoy a relaxing evening with a delectable dinner, reflecting on the day's adventures and the wonders of the wild.

You'll begin your final day with an invigorating walking safari from 6:00 am to 8:00 am. This early morning adventure offers a unique and intimate way to connect with the wilderness of Selous Game Reserve, now known as Nyerere National Park. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you'll explore the park's diverse landscapes on foot, gaining fascinating insights into the flora, fauna, and intricate details of the ecosystem that you might miss from a vehicle.
After your thrilling walk, you'll return to your lodge for a delicious full breakfast, where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and reflect on the incredible experiences of your safari.
You'll take some time to prepare for departure. You'll check out of Mloka Safari Lodge and be ready for your journey back to Dar es Salaam. You will have a short stop on the way for a hot lunch.
