Upon arrival in Maun, you will be met by one of our representatives and assisted to board your light aircraft transfer into the Okavango Delta to Machabe Camp where you will spend the first three nights of your safari.
Machaba Camp is a traditional-style camp nestled in the game-rich Khwai area. The Khwai Concession is a 35 000 hectare reserve located in the northeastern section of the world-famous Okavango Delta and it shares its westerly border with the Moremi Game Reserve.
Settle into your room and start taking in the natural surroundings before you head out on your first game drive followed by dinner back at the camp.

During the next two days, you will have many opportunities to learn more about the Okavango Delta and experience the many activities the camp has to offer.
Machaba Camp strikes the perfect balance between class and comfort, with 10 luxury tents nestled in the treeline along the Khwai River and overlooking the gorgeous Moremi Game Reserve. Each tent features an en-suite bathroom, a living area, and an intimate and romantic outdoor shower.
Explore the magnificent environment on morning and evening game drives, walking safaris and mokoros (traditional canoes). Indulge in some bush pampering in the privacy of your suite or just soak up the sights and sounds of the alluring African bush.

Light Aircraft Transfer Machaba Camp to Gomoti Plains Camp
After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Machabe Camp. Have a light aircraft transfer to your next destination in the Okavango Delta—Gomoti Plains Camp where you will spend the next three nights.
Gomoti Plains Camp is named after the Gomoti River which it borders. It lies alongside one of the smaller of the Deltas water system’s flood plains. Framed by towering palm trees, the camp's canvas tents provide eco-luxurious comfort in an area that is alive with superb land and water-based game-viewing opportunities.

Game Viewing Okavango Delta, Gomoti Plains
The Okavango Delta is an inland water system, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site and known as “the river that never meets the sea”. This seasonal network of waterways, channels and islands shrinks and grows each year, providing a rich habitat to a plethora of birds, insects and animal species.
During the next two days, you will have the opportunity to explore all that and more through the many activities offered at Gomoti Plains. Gomoti is alive with diversity and with your game drives, you will most likely be able to spot big plains game, wild dog dens, a large pride of lions, big herds of buffalo and maybe even a leopard or cheetah. The water-based game activity by mokoro or motorized boat will make yet another totally different world available to you—you will see creatures and details up close that you would otherwise miss from the land.

Light Aircraft Transfer Gomoti Plains to Kasane & Onward Road Transfer to Chobe, Ngoma Safari Lodge
After breakfast, you will board your light aircraft charter which will take you to Kasane. In Kasane, you will be met and taken to Ngoma Safari Lodge (approximately 1-hour drive).
Ngoma Safari Lodge is tucked away in the Chobe Forest Reserve on the western side of the transit routes that run between Kasane and the Ngoma border post with Namibia. Its unique location on the edge of a plateau offers endless views over the seasonal Chobe floodplain.
Settle into your room and familiarize yourself with your surroundings before heading out on your first game activity.

Explore Chobe Forest Reserve, Ngoma Safari Lodge
During the following two days, you will indulge in the many activities Ngoma Safari Lodge has to offer.
From bird watching to taking an untamed walking safari under the care of a highly trained guide, to full-day boat cruises on the Chobe River and thrilling night safaris to name but a few, there is always something to see and do.
Experience amazing game sightings and be on the lookout for lions, leopards, buffalos and elephants as well as hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, Sable and other antelopes. The flood plain also attracts large migratory herds of zebras that follow a 480-kilometre round trip between the Angola basin and Chobe, making it the longest terrestrial migration route in Africa.
In between game activities, you will have time to relax back at the lodge enjoying the panoramic views over the flood plains from the comfort of your room or the lodge's central guest area.
