You'll be picked up at Skukuza Airport has an R100 landing fee (payable on the day).
Or start the day early on this intimate small group safari (less than 10 people) optionally booked from accommodations in Johannesburg. The arranged professional pick-up driver for ZAR 875 per transfer will take guests to the shuttle pick-up point.
The optional shuttle from Johannesburg to Kruger leaves at 6:45 am from the OR Tambo bus terminal (included).
Alternatively, we do pick-ups from Nelspruit Airport at 1:15 pm (included).
This provides flexibility to get to the safari.
A scenic drive with fantastic photographic opportunities takes us though the escarpment to the Sabi Sands Reserve (when taking the shuttle service from Johannesburg). We advise guests to buy take-out meals at the standard road stop (for their own account).
The afternoon drives continue after dark and dinner is afterwards.

Day 2

The day starts with an early wake-up call between 5:00 am and 5:30 am. Tea, coffee and muffins are enjoyed before leaving at first light on your morning game drive. Have a full breakfast at 9:00 am. You can also opt for a bush walk instead of the morning game drive (should the lodge include it).
After breakfast and a short rest break, you will be transferred back to Kruger National Park for your overnight stay.
Your afternoon Kruger game drive starts at approximately 3:00 pm.
Animal sightings are not guaranteed, however, the chances to spot all of the Big Five on our safaris are very good!
Delicious dinner and pudding (catering to various diets) are included after the afternoon game drive. A glass of wine is also provided.
Your overnight stay will be in Kruger National Park.

The start time of your morning drive will depend on Kruger Rest Camp gate opening times (as it differs throughout the year). April to September, the rest camp gates open at 6:00 am, November to January at 4:30 am, and February, March and October rest camp gates open at 5:30 am.
After the morning game drive, brunch is a hot breakfast.
Dinner is a meal South Africans regularly enjoy (for various diets) with pudding.
Optional Panorama Route can be booked at ZAR 2250 per person (to replace the activities for the day):
pre-bookable (included in the safari price). Places visited are Gods Window, Bourke’s Luck, Three Rondavels (Blyde River Canyon) and a waterfall (timing dependent). Meal/lunch stop on route (at your own expense).

The day starts early (after the game rangers or hosts’ wake-up call). The start time of your morning drive will depend on rest camp gate opening times (as it differs throughout the year) and you may still be able to see nocturnal animals. April to September, the rest camp gates open at 6:00 am, November to January at 4:30 am, and February, March and October rest camp gates open at 5:30 am.
Enjoy coffee or tea with rusks/muffins. The morning game drive is the last chance to spot the Big Five, offering guests the opportunity to explore spectacular wild Africa, to spot a vast array of interesting wildlife.
After the morning game drive, brunch is a hot breakfast.
Guests are dropped off at Skukuza Airport according to their flight time, at Nelspruit Airport strictly at 1:15 pm (included) and in Johannesburg between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm (included).
