Day 1-2

Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls

Your driver will wait for you at the airport which is located 21 km southeast of Victoria Falls Town to transfer you to Dzimbahwe Guest Lodge; a comfortable lodge located in the peaceful area of Victoria Falls closer to the game corridor, approximately 3km from the main falls where you will sleep for two nights. On the same day, you will be picked for the sunset dinner cruise offering splendid scenery with many hippos, crocodiles, and elephants that cross the river to feed on the islands and exotic birdlife. As magical sunset charm settles over the river, lanterns are lit and a wonderful three-course dinner is served. You'll enjoy the following day as you will be picked from your lodge for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. Later during the day, you will picked for a village tour. As the evening approaches, you will go for an unforgettable African experience infused with Zimbabwean cuisine, the buffet boma dinner before your tomorrow's early morning transfer to Hwange National Park.

Day 3-4

Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park

After breakfast, you'll be picked up for a drive of approximately 2 hours. You'll travel through Hwange, a rustic and charming town dotted with villages within rural Africa to Ganda Lodge with a natural waterhole. It attracts a wide variety of birds and animal species including elephants, buffalos, lions, and a large variety of waterfowls. After lunch, an experienced guide drives you into the thick bush of the Ganda Lodge estate through the beautiful teak woodlands of the Sikumi Forest bordering the Hwange National Park finishing the day with a dinner at the lodge. The following day, you'll enjoy an early morning game drive in an open game drive vehicle into Zimbabwe’s premier wildlife area driving through different routes. Later, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch and ride back into these rolling plains and see the last free-ranging elephant population with nearly all major species and accompanying predators. You'll enjoy a sundowner, finishing the day with dinner at the lodge. (Full Board).

Day 5-6

Matobo National Park

After an eventful experience of an African Safari of the Hwange National Park and a quiet bushy sleep at Ganda Lodge; you'll depart with your driver after breakfast for an almost 323 km drive to Matobo Hills Lodge. Before you reach the lodge, you will pass through Bulawayo, a gateway to Matobo National Park. It is the second largest city in Zimbabwe, after a 52 km drive from Bulawayo. You will arrive at Matobo Hills Lodge for check-in to such an amazing lodge with large sunlit windows offering you breathtaking views of Matobo Hills and the secluded bush surrounds.
You'll experience an amazing game drive in an open safari vehicle with professional guides offering the perfect opportunity to get up close to Zimbabwe’s wildlife, culture, and history. The next day, you'll enjoy a full-day tour within Matobo National Park where you'll track rhinos. You'll go to ancient bushmen paintings then on to see Cecil John Rhode's grave accompanied by a beautiful sunset scenery.

Day 7-8

Great Zimbabwe

Great Zimbabwe

After an amazing experience at Matobo Hills Lodge, you'll grab your breakfast and check out of the hotel. You'll head to Great Zimbabwe with your driver for an almost 4-hour drive passing through Masvingo which is a small town with palm-lined, wide streets and rather shabby buildings. It is 27 km away from the Great Zimbabwe Ruins. You'll check in at the lodge at the ancient city which is a unique hotel built around a granite outcrop in the same style as Great Zimbabwe, providing views across the valley of Msasa towards the ancient city of Great Zimbabwe. The following morning, you'll visit the greatest medieval city in sub-Saharan Africa, the World Heritage–listed Great Zimbabwe which is one of the nation's treasured sights, so much so that the country was named after it. Your driver will take you to your guide who will tour with you in the ruins of this ancient place for almost 3 hours giving you an insight view of these old grandeur ruins of Great Zimbabwe.

Day 9-10

The Eastern Highlands

After an early breakfast, you will leave Masvingo and head through the diverse scenery of farmlands, and rocky outcrops into the magnificent mountainous area of the Eastern highlands, also known as “The Little England” of Zimbabwe. The journey is about 317 km to Leopard Rock Hotel for a luxury taste of the Eastern Highlands. Leopard Rock is more than a hotel; it is a welcoming and diverse luxury holiday resort for travelers of all ages and backgrounds. On arrival at the hotel, you will be able to take in beautiful calm views and serene settings. (Optional activities are available —horse riding, golf, fishing, archery, estate tours, and trails).

Soon after breakfast, you'll leave Leopard Rock Hotel for Harare, Zimbabwe's Capital City on an almost 4-hour drive to Cresta Lodge Harare. This town exposes an impeccably clean city, bustling with busy shops and wide open streets. It is also the most populous city of Zimbabwe; laid-back with wide avenues, lined with dusty red earth, indigenous plants, and blooming jacarandas giving it a lovely African summertime feel. You'll spend your last night in the hospitable Cresta Lodge Harare set in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings located on the outskirts of Harare’s dynamic city center with an idyllic setting for your most memorable events. You'll enjoy a city tour of Harare and a visit to one of the biggest and oldest markets in Zimbabwe, Mbare Musika, and also you might need to do some shopping for some African souvenirs.
