Tarangire National Park will give you many viewing opportunities as it is a habitat for plenty of wildlife like zebras. Herds of up to about 300 elephants can be seen searching for underground streams in the dry river beds. Migratory wildebeest, eland, gazelle, impala, kudu, rhino, hartebeest, buffalo and other small mammals are common in this park with its thin vegetation scattered with baobab and acacia trees. Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara National Park. It has a small but diverse ecosystem with a huge variety of animal and birdlife. It is rightly famous for its tree-climbing lions and boisterous baboons. You will be able to see groups of pelicans and the pink shading of distant flamingos in the middle of the lake. In the evergreen forests, you can see crowned eagles, crested guinea fowls, and the silvery-cheeked hornbills.
You can opt to add other optional activities like a Massai boma visit, a Mto wa Mbu village visit, a forest hike and/or Lake Manyara nature walk.

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcanic caldera with a unique ecosystem that inhabits more than 25,000 resident animals. In the grass and acacia forest, you can spot almost every animal species of the East African savannah together with the Big Five animals (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard). Other animals include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and the giant African elephant. There are dense populations of predators, which include lion, hyena, jackal, cheetah and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Later, you will drive back to Arusha.
