Day 1

Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

You'll be picked up from your hotel or the airport at 7.00 am and drive south to Amboseli via Mombasa road. Arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. After lunch, go on to the park for an afternoon game drive, where you will see large herds of elephants and other animals from close range against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spend 2 hours and 30 minutes in search of the big game in the park. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Day 2

Explore Amboseli National Park

Explore Amboseli National Park

Have an early breakfast and leave the lodge at 7:00 am with packed picnic lunch for a full day of adventure in the park. The park hosts many jackals, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, antelopes and the chance of spotting a leopard or cheetah. Observation Hill, a conical peak which is easy to climb offers great views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch will be served at the Observation Hills which offers clear views of the entire park as well as views of the breathtaking Mount Kilimanjaro. Relax after lunch, enjoy watching animals such as herds of elephants, buffalos, hippos, wildebeest, zebras among others grazing a few meters away. Return to the camp at around 4:00 pm. You may also have an optional visit to the authentic Maasai village. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park -Tsavo West National Park

Amboseli National Park -Tsavo West National Park

Enjoy an early morning drive at first light. You'll then return to the lodge for breakfast and later leave Amboseli and proceed to Tsavo West National Park for game viewing as well as a stopover at the Shetani Lava Flow en route. You'll be arriving in time for lunch at the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, proceed to the park for an afternoon game drive. Tsavo West National Park is home to over 500 recorded species of birdlife as well as most of the larger mammals, including huge herds of dust red elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo, waterbucks, gerenuks, hippos and crocodiles. A game drive here is never complete without a visit to Mzima Springs which is home to schools of hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4

Tsavo West National Park -Tsavo East National Park

Tsavo West National Park -Tsavo East National Park

We'll depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Tsavo East National Park. The game is viewed as we exit the park. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ashnil Aruba. This park was famed for its large herds of elephants covered in red dust and fine scenery. We'll visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (which attracts elephants in the drier season), and Aruba Dam as we view the game if time permits. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.
