You will be picked up from the hotel in Entebbe after breakfast by your guide. Thereafter, you will drive to the southwestern part of Uganda via Masaka. You will have two stopovers; at the Equator to take photographs and buy souvenirs and also in Mbarara for lunch. Later, you will drive through the rolling hills with banana plantations and the stunning terraced Kigezi Highlands.
It will be a great journey as you will have great views of various landscapes. On reaching the park, you will check in, have dinner and an overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this day, you will wake up early and have breakfast. Afterwards, you will carry your packed lunch and then proceed to the park headquarters with your driver guide. You will have a briefing from the park rangers at 8:00 am concerning the rules in the park.
Thereafter, you will start off with tracking. Ensure that you carry enough drinking water, strong shoes, a jacket and a walking stick. You will meet the gorillas and have a great time watching the playful juveniles, the silverbacks and also other gentle giants feed the young ones.
Take as many photos as you want with your camera flash off. Afterwards, you will return and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa (900 meters deep) and also one of the few places in the country considered safe to swim as it is bilharzia-free. You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi + Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will take a boat ride on this lake and hike to different viewpoints before heading to Kibale Forest National Park arriving in the early afternoon. On the drive to Kibale National Park, you will be able to enjoy an impressive sight of the legendary “mountains of the moon” which you will see on the road to Fort Portal. You will have lunch in Fort Portal after which you will head to the Kibale National Park to visit the unique Bigodi swamp eco-tourism site where you will see uncommon plants and rare bird species such as the great blue turaco, little bulbul, Rwenzori turaco and the Narina trogon, among others. Your dinner and overnight will be at Kibale Forest Lodge.

Chimp Track + Transfer Back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will go to Kibale Forest to view the primates. The activity begins at 8:00 am with a briefing of the rules for trekking the chimpanzees after which you set off to search for them in the forest. The exercise takes half a day and along the way, you will see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, phoestes, red Colobus, blue-tailed and red-tailed monkeys swinging in the branches of this thick forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates you will be coming across and on the plants as well as on the insects and butterflies in this forest to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but informative as well. Afterwards, you will return and set off for Kampala with lunch en route arriving late in the afternoon.
