Arrive and Proceed to Amboseli National Park

After pick-up from the international airport in the morning, we travel to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The drive takes us past traditional Maasai villages dotted across the countryside. Arrive at Amboseli Park in time for lunch and check-in.

At 16h00, start your afternoon game drive which introduces you to the flat plains of Amboseli, with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the distance. The park supports a wide variety of wildlife and is home to the Maasai. Dinner and overnight will be at Amboseli Kibo Tented Camp.

Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast at the camp and then take your picnic lunch box and proceed to the park for a full-day game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife including wildebeest, giraffe, and baboon. Amboseli National Park, crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, is the "home of the African elephants" and is one of Kenya's most popular parks.

The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust" and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli to wetlands with sulphur springs, savannah, and woodlands. You will enjoy your picnic lunch boxes at Observation Hill to view Amboseli. Later, you will go on your afternoon game drive and thereafter return to your camp to enjoy the camp facilities with dinner and overnight at the camp.

Amboseli - International Airport

After breakfast at the camp, check out and load your luggage into your tour mini-van. Head to Nairobi with a few stops along the way to stretch your legs and visit clean washrooms and also for a chance to buy souvenirs. Later, transfer to the airport for your international departure or be dropped off at your Nairobi residence.
