Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll be picked up from the Nairobi hotel at 7:00 am. It will be followed by a departure to Masai Mara National Reserve, stopping at the viewpoint of the Rift Valley, whose view of the valley below is splendidly panoramic. At Narok town, you'll have a break and refuel. The journey will continue to Maasai Mara Game Reserve where you are expected to arrive in good time for an early lunch. Later, you will proceed to the park for a late afternoon game drive as early as you can until 6:30 pm. This is the official time for the park to close its gates. You'll return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
The camps are self-contained permanent structures with hot and cold tap running water- all under one roof.

Masai Mara National Reserve Watching Migration

The day begins with an English breakfast, followed by a full-day tour of the Masai Mara. More than 400 bird species, including raptors, have already been identified here. White-tipped crests, ross turacos, orange buffs, Pel's fishing owl, wary guinea fowl, long-crested eagles, pygmy falcons, and red-winged shallows turacos are among the birds that can be seen. The park also houses the Big Five wildlife as well as other species of wild game that live in this natural habitat.
Lions are also frequently seen either basking after a large meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are more difficult to see, but they are fairly common.
The ultimate action in this area is without a doubt the annual wildebeest exodus, when millions of these grazers migrate north from the Serengeti in search of greener pastures.
The rest of the evening will be spent at the chosen accommodation on a full-board basis, as we wait for the new day within the savannah grassland.

You'll have an early morning breakfast followed by a Maasai Village tour. In the fullness of time, you will depart and drive to Nairobi, where the safari will end in the late afternoon between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm. This will mark the end of this magical trip with us here at Back Of Africa Adventure.
