Day 1

Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 am then start a drive to Mikumi National Park. While on the way near to Mlandizi, you will have breakfast. This trip will take not less than seven hours. On the way to Mikumi National Park, you will be probably lucky to see elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalos, wildebeest, elands, hartebeests, crocodiles, lizards, and other residents. This is because the Mikumi National Park gate is almost inside of the park dimensions however it is located beside the main road. After arrival between 10:00 am to 11:00 am, you will start the game drive right away. You will witness a lot of wildlife and bird species. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. After the game drive, you will have a short break for lunch. Then, you will proceed with the game drive up to sunset. Then, you'll go for dinner and an overnight stay at Mukumi Park Cottages.

Day 2

Before breakfast, you will leave the camp to Mikumi National Park for morning wildlife viewing. This is the best time for you to spot most predators hunting around this time. Our guide will always share with you lots of hidden secrets in the Mikumi, why Mikumi shall never die, survival of the fittest applies in the Serengeti, and much more. Immediately after breakfast, you will be back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will start driving to Udzungwa Mountain for hiking and that is where you will have your lunch. After a long hike, you will get an opportunity to cool your body by swimming in the natural pool resulting in the force of waterfalls. For better memories, you will take photos as we hope it will be a nice and memorable experience for you in your entire life as you don't do it so frequently.

After being done with it, you will then drive to Camp Bastian Mikumi. There is where you will also have dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at Camp Bastian, you will start to drive to Nyerere National Park for a boat drive in the river from 4:00 pm. Rufiji River is among the wide rivers in Tanzania. The river is crossing in the park and it has many crocodiles and hippos so while cruising on it. You will be able to see hippos, crocodiles, and many bird species. So you'll combine this beautiful river with Nyerere National Park which is home to a large population of elephants, a large number of buffalos, and rare species of wild dogs. You'll get to realize that Nyerere National Park is a unique place for anyone to visit. Other species commonly seen are lions, bushbucks, impalas, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras, kudus, and crocodiles. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Selous Safari Lodge.

Full and Amazing Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

After having the delicious breakfast, you will now be starting the full-day game drives in the park. Nyerere National Park is home to a large population of elephants, a large number of buffalos, and wild dogs. Other species commonly seen are lions, bushbucks, impalas, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras, kudus, and crocodiles. Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) is a protected area in southern Tanzania. It covers a total area of 50,000 km² and has additional buffer zones. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to its wildlife diversity and undisturbed nature. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the packed lunch box. After the delicious lunch in the park, you will proceed with a lovely game drive up to evening where you will start heading back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Walking Safari then Drive Back to Dar es Salaam

Before breakfast, you will have time to do the walking safari with a bushman near the park to see nature and have a history of the place, and the types of popular trees their benefit. The walking safari experience conducted near the park area is not supported by an armed ranger. After going back for breakfast, you'll depart to Dar es Salaam where we will drop you off at your hotel, airport, or to the ferry if you will be connecting to Zanzibar. That will be the end of our tour.
