Day 1

Departure takes place from OR Tambo airport in Johannesburg by shuttle to the Kruger Park region. Arriving in Hoedspruit you will be greeted by your Private Field Guide who will interpret the African bush for you on each private safari by open safari vehicle.

As you enter the Kruger Park your safari begins, where you can expect to encounter Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and a host of general game such as Giraffe, Zebra and various antelope. In the late afternoon you will arrive at your camp in the Kruger Park. Where you will settle in and get aquatinted with the camp facilities such as shop, private dining area (private catering only) or camp restaurant and swimming pool.

Private catering serves dinner under the stars in a private pop-up dinning set up in the camp. A selection of African inspired dishes will be served, prepared by our chef. Or you will dine at the camp restaurant offering a finely crafted menu and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.

Day 2

A day on private safari in the Kruger Park

Every day on safari begins as the sun peaks over the horizon. Our chef will prepare tea, coffee, pastries and cereals to enjoy before our morning safari. (Only available with private catering option.) Exiting the gates as they open, your guide is trained to get you up close and personal with nature. Our guides have a wealth of knowledge and experience to give you the best chance to see the Big Five.

After our morning safari, you will return to camp mid-morning. Here a wholesome and tasty English style buffet brunch is ready and waiting for you. Or it will be enjoyed at the camp restaurant depending on meal option. In the afternoon, we’ll gather for high tea made up of refreshing fruit juice and ice tea with an assortment of light snacks (with private catering only), before heading out on our afternoon safari. It’s another 3 – 4 hours where we could see, Hippo, Hyena or any member of the Big 5 and loads more. Dinner is served in camp by your chef or at the camp restaurant.

Day 3

On your final day in the Kruger, we will again rise together with the bush and depart on your final private safari. This gives you one last opportunity to find any animals that you might not have seen in the Kruger yet. With private catering, your chef will prepare a breakfast pack for you to take on safari, maximising your last morning out in the African bush or you will have breakfast at the camp restaurant.

You will then travel to Kapama Private Game Reserve, where you will check into your Deluxe suite. Where you will escape to a place away from time, and indulge in one of the finest safari lodges near the Kruger National Park.

After lunch at the lodge, your first safari begins in a private game reserve. Here guides are not limited to the roads for Big Five sightings and will stop during the safari for sundowners in the African bush, a special experience. Then you’ll continue on safari after dark with the spotlights on, before dinner is served in the lodge restaurant.

An early wake up call ensures you'r ready in time for your sunrise safari. Once you’ve had some coffee, tea and pastries, you head out on your safari in search of the iconic animals that can be expected on an African safari adventure. Kapama rangers can drive off-road for the Big 5, getting you up close and personal. During your morning safari, your ranger will find a special spot to stop for coffee, tea and pastries before continuing on safari.

You will return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, relax and unwind at leisure, by the pool, at the bar or enjoy a siesta in your suite. In the afternoon lunch is served in the lodge restaurant before your sunset safari.

At 15:30 high tea is served, before you depart for sunset safari, during this safari you will stop for sundowners as the sun sets over the African bush, you will then continue on safari after dark with the spotlights on, searching for nocturnal animals, before you return to the lodge for dinner.

On your final day, you meet your ranger for a 3 to 4 hour morning safari with a tea and coffee stop in the bush. This gives you the last opportunity to soak up the natural environment while reflecting on an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience. When your safari ends, you will enjoy breakfast at the lodge before your transfer arrives to collect you for your journey back to Johannesburg.
