Today you will be picked up from the airport or from your hotel and you will be given a pre-departure meeting at your hotel or at the airport in your car ready for the safari. This always depends on your preferred choice of pick up. This is then followed by a drive through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Narok county, the land of Maa people. Masai Mara National Reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration. It is also home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. The intercounty borders are what has spilt the two great national parks. Arrive for lunch at the lodge/camp and relax before departing for the afternoon game drive.

Masai Mara National Reserve
On the second day, you will wake up, and have your morning breakfast ready to be served. Today, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in the reserve, with your picnic lunch. Masai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Mara Triangle borders the Mara River with lush grassland and acacia woodlands, this is always good for game drives. The Mara is perhaps best known for the Great Migration, which takes place every year July to September. During these months the yellow savannah is dotted black by more than 1.5 million wildebeests, zebras and antelopes that migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara in search of food and water.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park
After a sound sleep, you will wake up for a morning breakfast and then depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, one of the best national parks in Kenya given that it has one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. On arrival, you'll get a welcome and be shown to your room. After lunch, take a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, which is well known as a bird lover’s hub because of the numerous birds that make home in this park. Lake Nakuru is home to over 400 bird species including the flamingos that live on the lake and in the park’s savannah grasslands. The bird species include but are not limited to African fish eagle, slender-billed greenbul, long-tailed widowbird, Rufous-throated wryneck, montane white-eye, red-capped lark, Northern puffback, Rüppell’s robin-chat, shining sunbird and many more.

Lake Nakuru National Reserve - Lake Elementaita (Soda Lake)
You will wake up for a morning breakfast and then depart to Lake Elementaita. On arrival, you get a welcome drink and are shown to your room. After lunch, take a late afternoon guided leisure walk along the bird-rich lake. Lake Elmenteita is a soda lake, in the Great Rift Valley, about 120km northwest of Nairobi, Kenya. The salt lake is known for its rich avifauna, among other huge concentrations of greater and lesser flamingos. End up in the hot spring for a relaxing dip. Thereafter, return to the lodge for dinner and a campfire.

Lake Elementaita (Soda Lake) - Amboseli National Park
We will depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi in the morning after breakfast. Drive south through Maasai county to the plains below Mount Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. A scenic park in its own right, Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things, majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighbouring Tanzania. After a picnic lunch en route with the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife animals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, buffalo, and various plains plateaus game can be seen. Postcard-perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. Finally, you will return to your hotel.

Early in the morning, wake up with your breakfast ready. Today you will have your packed lunch for ready full-day game drives. Proceed with more game drives in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest and giraffe. Amboseli National Park is one of the best-known wildlife destinations in Kenya, primarily for excellent sightings of elephants in the big marshy area and the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro (Observation Hill offers the best vistas). Chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli National Park - Namanaga - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will drive out of the park with the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, then drive to the border of Tanzania and Kenya at the Namanga border. After the immigration clearance, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park. One of the lesser-known game reserves in Tanzania, Tarangire rivals the Serengeti in great numbers and diversity of wildlife. It is a good choice for travellers who wish to encounter more animals and fewer tourists while on safari. The Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees.

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will be transferred to the famous Serengeti National Park. This park is to Tanzania, what the Masai Mara National Reserve is to Kenya. Covering 14,763sq km, the Serengeti is dominated by vast, open plains with an abundance of wildlife. A picnic lunch will be provided en route, and the afternoon will be spent viewing game and absorbing the breathtaking scenery of the almost treeless plains of the Serengeti.
For two days, after an early breakfast, we will proceed on an early morning game drive, returning for a hearty lunch. After a brief rest, there will be an afternoon game drive to further explore this world-famous park.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
We will transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater, via Olduvai Gorge. Ngorongoro is an impressive 20km wide volcanic crater with 600m walls. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. Olduvai Gorge is famed for the discovery of 3.5-million-year-old fossil fragments of early human civilization. We will enjoy lunch overlooking the crater, and the afternoon will be spent at leisure.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport/ Nairobi
In the morning, depending on your air ticket booking after breakfast, you will be driven back to Arusha or (Kilimanjaro Airport) for your Zanzibar Island air transfer or back home. This will be the end of our trip! Note on the last day we have an option of transfering you back to Nairobi.
