3-Day Chobe National Park Camping from Victoria Falls

Arrival

The clients will be transferred from Victoria falls and Livingstone to Chobe National Park at 7:30am. Guide will meet guests at Kazungula and escort them through Immigration formalities. A short briefing will be scheduled for facts such as safety. Clients Staying in Kasane will be picked up from hotels where they will be staying. At 0930am guests board the boat and commence a 3 hour boat cruise into the Chobe National park. At the end of the cruise, enjoy a delicious lunch at Coffee Buzz restaurant, and there is an opportunity to do any last minute shopping in Kasane, as there are no shops within the park for personal extras guests may require. Guests then depart on an afternoon game drive - this being the best time to see Chobe’s large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink. After sunset dinner is served around the camp fire, and listen to the sounds of the bush around you as you slumber in your tent under the African sky.

Ultimate safari

Wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day), and after breakfast head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or wild dogs as they are still active at this time and chances of seeing them are good. Return to Camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to read, rest or take a refreshing shower. When the day starts to cool off another afternoon game drive follows tea, and good sightings are revisited or areas as yet unexplored are visited. Return to Camp after sunset for a reflective fireside chat. Dinner follows, as always accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night.

Departure

On your last day, enjoy a dawn breakfast followed by an early morning game drive - you may be lucky and even spot a leopard! Return to Camp for a delicious “bush brunch” and an opportunity to take a refreshing shower and to pack. Leave Camp on a final boat cruise on the Chobe River, before heading back into Kasane/Kazungula. This is the ultimate overnight camping experience and a wonderful opportunity to explore the best Chobe National Park has to offer!
