Upon arrival, you will be met by DK Tours and Safaris representatives and transferred to your hotel. You will then be picked up at 4:00 pm for the sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River. This is a two-hour boat cruise that includes return transfers snacks, soft drinks, wines, beers, and spirits.

Day 2

Guided Tour of the Falls and Boma Dinner

Guided Tour of the Falls and Boma Dinner

Your guide will meet you at 07h30 for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. This two-hour trip will take you to the falls, passing by the impressive baobab tree, and will conclude at the open curio market after the falls tour.

After the tour, you will have the rest of the day free for optional activities. At 19h00, you will be picked up for the Boma dinner, which features a variety of traditional entertainment, including drumming shows and dances. Dinner will be served buffet-style.

You will spend the night at A'Zambezi River Lodge on a bed-and-breakfast basis (BB).

Day 3

Safari in Chobe National Park

Safari in Chobe National Park

On this day, you will be picked up from your hotel at 07h00 for a full-day safari in Chobe National Park, Botswana. You won’t have to wait until you cross the border into Botswana to start enjoying game viewing; you will be driven through Zambezi National Park for 70 km on your way to the Botswana border.

The safari will begin with a three-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River, offering excellent opportunities for game viewing. Following the cruise, you will enjoy a buffet lunch at the four-star Chobe Safari Lodge. After lunch, we will head into the bush in custom-made 4x4 safari vehicles for a three-hour afternoon game drive. During this drive, we will visit the upper part of Chobe, which is not accessible by boat, where we may encounter shy predators such as lions, hyenas, and leopards, and occasionally witness them on their kills.

You will leave the park around 16h00 and be returned to your hotel near Chobe National Park.

Day 4

Chobe National Park Safari

Experience early morning game drives in Chobe National Park, complete with tea and coffee served in the bush. Depart at 06H00, and you will return to the lodge around 09H30 in time for a full breakfast. These early morning drives are ideal for spotting big cats.

At approximately 15H00, you will be picked up for an afternoon cruise on the Chobe River. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the big game as they come down to the river for their last drink of the day. You will also have the chance to witness the stunning sunset over the Chobe River.

Day 5

Transfer to Nata en-route to Maun

Transfer to Nata en-route to Maun

You will be picked up at 07H30 for your transfer to Nata, which is on your way to the Okavango Delta. You will spend one night at the Elephant Sands Bush Lodge before continuing to the Okavango Delta the following day. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to closely observe the elephants as they visit the lodge's waterhole, the only source of drinkable water in the area. Additionally, you can enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Elephant Sands Game Reserve for more wildlife viewing.

The Elephant Sands Bush Lodge is located only 250 km from Chobe National Park and is situated within the Elephant Sands Game Reserve.

Dinner and overnight accommodation at Elephant Sands will include dinner and breakfast.

You will be transferred from Elephant Sands Bush Camp to Maun, which serves as the launch pad for activities in the Okavango Delta. On this day, we recommend taking an optional afternoon scenic helicopter flight lasting approximately forty-five minutes. This flight provides a breathtaking view of the unique wetland system, including rivers, crystal-clear channels, islands, and lagoons that create a safe habitat for a variety of flora and fauna.

You will overnight at the Sedia Riverside Hotel (or a similar establishment), with breakfast included.

Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta

Soon after breakfast, you'll venture out on a day trip into the Okavango delta. This is a full-day experience where you will explore the Okavango by mokoro (a traditional dug-out canoe), by boat, and wilderness walks on nearby islands. Navigate the labyrinth of lily-filled lagoons and streams, where hippos fight for bathing rights and crocodiles wait for antelopes to linger too long over a drink. Commonly spotted animals include lions, impalas, giraffes, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and countless species of birds. You will return to the hotel at around 16h00 or thereabout.
