2 travelers on Start dateYou will be picked up from Victoria Falls at 5:00 am for the transfer to Chobe National Park, the choicest time of the day to encounter the parks' big cats and other nocturnals.
The half-day safari starts at around 6:30 am and this will give you a good chance to get close to nature in specially adapted open 4 x 4 jeeps. Here frequent lion sightings occur and most antelopes are common throughout the year. Leopards are also not rare in the area. Drives are along the waterfront where game congregates, with predators often lying in wait or just dozing in the shade.
The drive will continue until you break for lunch at about 12:30 pm. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before the 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River —the highlight of the tour— starting at 3:00 pm and ending at 6:00 pm. The cruise is a chance to see lots of waders and water birds along with the most water animals.
You will be back in Victoria Falls at around 8:00 pm in time for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
