Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha early in the morning and depart to the park. It's a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Once you arrive, you will start off your game-viewing experience in this magnificent park famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population and a large variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country. After a 6-hour game drive tour around the park, you will also have a picnic lunch inside the park. Later, you will exit the park and transfer to the camp/lodge where you will be spending the night and have dinner too. After a long day, you will spend the night at Fig Tree Lodge and Camp.

You have the option to choose if you want to stay in a lodge or a tented camp, based on your preference.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will set out for Africa's best park and experience stunning views on the way to Serengeti. You'll have a scenic game drive en route to the park and also a picnic lunch at the Serengeti Nabi gate. You will have a full-day game drive in the park and later proceed to your accommodation inside the park.
After your beautiful game drives in Serengeti National Park, you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Seronera Campsite. It’s located at Central Serengeti inside the park.

Note: There are premium accommodations inside the park. You can pay extra to upgrade to this type of accommodation. They offer private bathrooms and premium rooms.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

You will wake up very early and enjoy a sunrise game drive in Serengeti National Park to spot animals when they are more active and also to witness a fantastic African sunrise, one of the most spectacular sites one can experience. You will then return to camp for a full breakfast. Later, you will check out of Serengeti and travel to the Ngorongoro Crater. After a full game drive in Serengeti, you will go to Simba Campsite in Ngorongoro for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

You will depart the lodge early in the morning and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for your game drive. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new 7 Natural Wonders of Africa. The crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. The crater has a dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site. Afterwards, you will travel to the Lake Manyara National Park. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

You will be picked up from your accommodation in the early morning for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara. Although small in dimension (205sq miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a huge amount of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. Some unique facts about this park include the tree-climbing lions and the flamingos in the lakeshore. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that can not be described with words, and the game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background. Some extra tours are possible, including a bike tour or a boat excursion. After a long day in the crater, you will drive back to Arusha.
