3-Day Okavango Delta & Boteti River Tented Safari

Arrival and Visit to Xobe Village incl Scenic Drive

You will be picked up at the Maun airport where you will meet your ranger and guide. Proceed on the 20-minute drive to your tented lodge situated on the banks of the Boteti River. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will check in.
Depending on your arrival time, you may have an opportunity for a quick lunch or a dip in the pool while exploring the lodge’s natural surroundings before you will leave on an amazing Scenic Drive including a visit to Xobe Village.

Upon arrival, guests will be warmly welcomed with a short traditional dance performance, adding an authentic touch to the cultural experience. The opportunity to witness their craftsmanship and hear the stories behind their work adds depth to the experience.

After your Xobe Village visit, you will have some time to freshen up and then join us around the open fire. You can take in the magnificent scenery around you while enjoying a delicious and traditionally prepared meal. You will overnight in a safari tented room.

Full Day Mokoro OR Moremi Safari (guest’s preference)

Choose between a full-day mokoro safari including a nature walk OR a full-day open vehicle safari.

Option 1:
Your mokoro safari will begin as you head out into the many reed channels of the Okavango Delta. A stop will be made on one of the many islands to enjoy your packed lunch before heading on a nature walk. After some relaxing time, you will continue your adventure, exploring more of these unlimited channels. You can choose to stop at any of the islands as you please. You will return at 16h00.

Option 2:
Your experienced game ranger will teach you about all aspects of nature and interpret wildlife behavior to you in a unique way. A packed lunch will be served in style by your guide at one of the beautiful rest camps along the way. Picnic snacks and refreshments are included in both safari activities.

After your return, your long day on safari will end, typically with drinks of your choice on the wooden deck, followed by dinner in the open boma.

Morning Relaxation and Departure

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast in a more relaxed fashion this morning, taking in the breathtaking surroundings one last time. Prepare for checkout and your transfer to Maun. The friendly lodge staff will bid you farewell before your transfer back to Maun airport or your preferred drop-off point within Maun. This is the end of your tour.
